Hello 2020.
I don’t know about you, but I personally could not wait for 2019 to be over. We had so many highs and lows, with the lows always more potent and stinging. This year I’d like to settle more, to find peace, to do some more soul searching, do more traveling, and take more time for quiet reflection. I won’t share my resolutions because, well, that’s just not me, but I will say that I plan on giving myself more attention and more forgiveness this year. Happy New Year friends.
A Sale. To End the Decade.
What I want for you. I want you to be able to have the digital photographs to put on social media, to keep on your phone for personalization, to text to your families so that they can do the same, but I also want you to have something to hold. Something that you can physically pass over and on to your family one day. We all have the best intentions for these babies, but how often - if ever - these days in this technological climate do we actually print out our photographs. The day to day ones on my phone, never. So I want to give you guys an opportunity to get in the shot this year with your kids or your lover (I said it) and then I really want you to get some of these images printed. I want them on your walls or on your coffee table so that your whole family can see them and see everyone together in just a very little, albeit very important moment in all of your lives.
So I am offering a sale, for my local friends in the Denver area, until December 31, 2019 on all of my collections for 2020, but with the largest savings (over $750) going toward the packages with the the most beautiful prints and albums eva! You guys, it is my fault that I don’t show you enough, but you will not believe the difference between drugstore or even online image printing compared to professional printing that is done and overseen by me, the actual picture taker so that your images are printed the way that they are supposed to be. It is wild still, the Oregon Coast. And some days it can be a little impossible. With sideways rain, blowing wind, whipping sand. It can be in the dead of winter and you will still take off your socks and shoes just to walk down its beaches. Even if your feet feel like they will fall off from the cold, and bottom of your legs are red with sand burn, just the sight alone will make the trip worth it.
We always seem to get lucky during our time together, early in the mornings along the coast. We haven’t had a bad run yet. This time was just magical. Thank you Renelt Fam!

Sure, we live near the Rocky Mountains and can go outside to photograph in some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. But sometimes, some of the most beautiful locations can be right in our own homes. Just the right light, the right background, and the best subjects in the world.

Wind. Hurricane Strength {Mama & Me Sessions}
I am not kidding. It was INSANE up at Red Rocks this weekend with the wind. WE powered through about 10 minutes to get just a few shots and then called it. Rescheduled, but still so happy we were able to get these few, just for show.
I think the madness, or the chaos, or the unplanned situation makes some of the best images because that is life. Life is a mess, it is blurry sometimes, it is flying by the seat of your pants. THESE images are life.

BOHO Shoot
I was so stoked to be able to join a group of local togs to shoot a couple of gorgeous mama's and their babes. We shot in an old historic building in downtown Denver that had a beyond gorgeous attic conversion. It was great to be able to gather and meet these women, who come from different backgrounds and are at different stages within their careers.
Plus the models were just beyond fabulous.
