It is wild still, the Oregon Coast. And some days it can be a little impossible. With sideways rain, blowing wind, whipping sand. It can be in the dead of winter and you will still take off your socks and shoes just to walk down its beaches. Even if your feet feel like they will fall off from the cold, and bottom of your legs are red with sand burn, just the sight alone will make the trip worth it.

We always seem to get lucky during our time together, early in the mornings along the coast. We haven’t had a bad run yet. This time was just magical. Thank you Renelt Fam!

Sure, we live near the Rocky Mountains and can go outside to photograph in some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. But sometimes, some of the most beautiful locations can be right in our own homes. Just the right light, the right background, and the best subjects in the world.
